Jeep J-12 Concept

Each year, many of the off-road faithful gather in Moab, for the Easter Jeep Safari.  It’s a week-long celebration, and a chance to tackle some of the most renowned trails in Utah’s red rock country.  With thousands of hardcore off-roaders assembled in one spot, it’s also a prime opportunity for Jeep to connect with their core audience.

Rear View Mirror: 1958 Buick Limited

Buick described their “Air Born B-58 Buicks” as, “Big, Bold and Buoyant”.  Parsing these adjectives, the first two were undoubtedly true, though one wouldn’t want to bet the farm on the ability of these beefy Buicks to float.  Overall, GM’s Buick division found it tough to tread water in 1958, much less turn a profit.
